Week 42: Say Hello, Wave Goodbye

 Type of Writing: Now that Kit can wave, a list of things that I'm looking forward to him wave at and a list of things I'm not looking forward to him wave at. Week 41: Press Release

 Type of Writing: Press Release on Kit's climbing screenplay being bought by a movie studio. ‘Standing Tall’ green-lit with sequel planned . Following a feeding frenzy, 20 th Century are proud to announce that they own the distribution rights to ‘Standing Tall,’ screenplay by Ryan Theivamanoharan. Last week the pitch for the movie went viral, attracting thirty likes and a comment. This noise reached the ears of Rachael McAdams and Dev Patel who immediately signed up to the picture, despite no script being made available. With these stars on board to play the mother and father (Harriet and Ryan Theivamanoharan), 20 th Century pledged to fund the picture along with a sequel. Screenwriter, Ryan Theivamanoharan, said: ‘It’s been quite the whirlwind. Type of Writing:  Movie pitch for a screenplay about Kit overcoming the odds to stand supported by the sofa.   Title: Standing Tall Author Name: Ryan Theivamanoharan (Screenplay) Logline: A little boy has big dreams of standing tall. His gross motor skills thwart him at every turn.  Stop him from standing tall. With persistence and dedication, the protagonist achieves his goal: he stands tall. The film is called Standing Tall. Summary: Kit James Raj Theivamanoharan is eight months old. He can roll over, crawl on his belly and handle a spoon like a heroin addict. What he can’t do is stand tall. The sofa is his Everest. He looks at it every day, sighs, shakes his head; the mountain is impassable, impossible. Every attempt to stand on his own two feet causes him to land on his two damn butt cheeks.  Type of Writing: Imagined scenarios of how exposure to Zoom will affect Kit's future interactions.     (Kit’s first day at school. He sits cross-legged on the carpet. The teacher is talking through the day. He’s nervous in a crowd of thirty – he doesn’t know anyone. Earlier, he spotted a boy had a Watford FC lunchbox. He sidles up to him.) Kit : At lunch, should we go into a breakout room and talk about the football? _______________________________________________________________________________ (Kit has settled into school now. His teacher has asked the class to deliver ‘Show and Tell’ on Monday morning.
